"Foundation of the Year" Award Winner

Balmer Bros. Concrete Work was voted the winner of the 2000 Basement of the Year Award by the Concrete Foundation Association.  The project was complex as well as mammoth and was just another added to own project resume.  Over the years we have done numerous unusual foundations for commercial, residential, and agricultural.  In the past few years, however, our firm has found a niche for itself in large and unusual foundations, many for homes.

Our poured concrete foundations provide builders and owners with stronger, drier, better basements.  They offer performance that block walls simply can't match.  And they do it at a competitive price. When it comes to below grade construction, hollow core block just doesn't stack up to poured concrete.  When compared to block construction, a concrete wall goes up fast, increases productivity and results in a superior basement time after time.
